Role Overview

The Software Engineer role at Amdocs involves the design, development, modification, debugging, and maintenance of software code. You will follow Amdocs engineering standards and software methodologies to build scalable and maintainable systems, while also participating in peer reviews and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and debug software code based on functional and technical design specifications
• Follow software engineering standards and methodologies to build scalable and supportable systems
• Investigate and troubleshoot software issues, review/debug code, and provide fixes or workarounds
• Collaborate with the team, participate in peer code reviews, and contribute to team goals
• Take technical ownership of assigned work and provide support for new requirements during solution design
• Continuously seek out improvements and innovations in assigned tasks

Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Technical Experience

• 1 to 3+ years of experience in SSIS, SQL, and Data Warehousing
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Python
• Ability to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software code
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and Agile environments
